This site and its products are provided by Valerie Tinsman, trading as Homeschooling Smart ("we", "us"). By using this site or buying a product, you are entering into an agreement with Valerie Tinsman.

By continuing to use the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. You confirm you are of legal age to enter this agreement, or that you have authority to accept these terms on behalf of the organisation you represent.

Homeschooling Smart sells only its own digital products, created by us: printable and fillable PDF planners, record-keeping guides, written curriculum guidance, and access to our Curriculum Builder tool. Nothing on this site is a physical product, nothing is shipped, and we do not sell anything on behalf of other companies — third-party curriculum listings on this site are editorial reviews with links to the publishers' own websites.

You need a free account to buy and re-download files. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date, and tell us right away if you think someone else has access.

You agree not to misuse the site or our products. In particular, you must not:

use the site or files for any unlawful purpose; commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate others; infringe our intellectual property or anyone else's; resell, redistribute or publicly share purchased files; attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the site, including introducing malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, bypassing access controls, scraping, or sharing download links or account credentials with others.

We retain ownership of the site and all of its content, including the PDFs, written guidance, designs, branding and code. Your purchase grants the licence described below and transfers no ownership.

Purchases are handled by Paddle.com, which acts as the merchant of record and appears on your statement. Prices are shown in US dollars; applicable sales tax or VAT is added at checkout based on your location.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own refund window is set out in our refund policy.

Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the files within your own household or immediate family. You may print as many copies as your family needs.

You may not resell, redistribute, share publicly, upload to file-sharing or resource-sharing sites, or use the files in a paid class, co-op, or business without written permission.

Curriculum descriptions, prices and comparisons on this site are informational and approximate, may change, and are not endorsements. Always confirm current details directly with each provider. We are not responsible for meeting your state or country's homeschool legal requirements — our record-keeping templates are tools, not legal advice.

We work to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and downloads may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance or provider outages.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and products are provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to purchased files, with or without notice where necessary, if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay or reverse a payment without cause, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules. Where a suspension is our error, we will restore access promptly. You may close your account at any time by emailing us.

We may update the site, our products, and these terms. Material changes to these terms will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
